How do French women look so stylish?

- I am yearning for spring. Frankly, I am tired of my wintry browns and grays and the thought of light, airy clothing makes me smile. The big question for me is what do I need to add from the spring lines that will modernize my spring wardrobe? There are so many different styles, colors and looks from which to choose. And like you, I want to add pieces that will look fashionable now and in the future.
- The 2015 spring collections were inspired by the Bohemian look of the seventies with an emphasis on fringe, midriffs, safari styling and colorful prints. The caveat is that with the speed and the instant access to the internet, trends change quickly and have less meaning and substance. We know that “every passing fancy” is not right for everyone and fashion today is no longer bound to one color or shape. There is much more freedom to choose the styles that work with your coloring, tastes, life style and suit your shape- way more fun, but also a little scary.
- The truth is that classic designs always look good with the addition of some updated twists. The emphasis this season of both bright & neutral colors, patterns on pants, vests and a variety of tunic blouses can really spice up your spring wardrobe. I like to think that NPR has the best of both worlds- classic styles plus some trendy, hip pieces. We are here to help you find the clothes that look good on you, regardless of whether you are a “fashionista” or a traditional kind of a gal.
