YES!
This is one of my mom’s scarves and I love the color and the butterflies, but by today’s standards it is unstylish. In fact, many people think scarves date us, but I don’t think so. Scarves can give an outfit a bit of pizzazz and bring colors together. (And that’s a whole other reel.)
I knew that I couldn’t tie it like a Girl Scout , but what could a small, one sided print and square scarf do?
What worked was when I brought two corners together to make a half, and then kept folding to make a rectangle. Placed the scarf around my neck ,twisted the two ends twice, brought one end up, made a loop and then brought the end through the loop. Repeat process with the other end. The scarf looks interesting and lays flat.
Fashion forward- no, but colorful and feels like my mom is giving me a hug.
I’m wearing AG jeans ex-boyfriend jeans, A’nue Ligne tee, White & Warren cardigan, Aquatalia boots. All of the clothing came from my closet.
